Around the World in 5000 Blogs

Apparently you can follow up to 5000 blogs on Tumblr! Wow! Though I follow only a little over 100 blogs on my main account, I intend to take full advantage of the admittedly generous limit and follow 5000 blogs over here! Let's do this.

  • ask me anything
  • rss
  • archive
  • Hit the following limit for today!

    • #day 26
  • Also, considering events that have taken place during my break, I promise new and old followers that this blog is not a social experiment, or anything like that. It is for my personal enjoyment (and maybe yours?).

  • Please do not judge me for that post about the girl and the bear, new people I am following that might click on the blog.

  • Baffling Post Wednesday
It was not a reblog. It was simply posted as you see it here - no description, no source, no “In famous photographer John Johnson’s provocative series…,” nothing. The tags do little to reveal the OP’s attitude toward the photograph. I assume they like it.
Despite my initial bafflement, as I was writing this description, I began to see the appeal of the picture. Plenty of people like teddy bears. Plenty of people like sex! Together, it’s, uh. Hm.
I believe the picture is intentionally designed to be an fascinating combination of strange and sensual, but man, just look at the soulless gaze of that bear.

You can tell his heart’s just not in it.

  • Would any of you feel insulted if I said on this blog, with just a screenshot and without mentioning your username at all, that one of the things you posted was utterly baffling to me (as in it was very strange and somewhat funny to me, not as in “wow, look at how stupid this person is”)?
